πολλάκις σοι ἔγραψα περὶ τοῦ ἀναλώματος τῶν ἐργατῶν καὶ οὐδέν μοι ἀπέστιλας
μὰ τὸν γὰρ Θεὼν καθʼ ἑκάστην ποιῶ μεγάλην ἀδίαν μετὰ τῶν ἀπαιτητῶν τούτου χάριν.
σπούδασον ἐν τῇ σήμερον ἀπόστιλον τὸ ἀνάλωμα τῶν αὐτῶν ἐργατο͂ν· οἶδας καὶ σοὶ τί ἐσιν προσδοχή. ἐὰν γνοις ὅτι οἱ κώμαρχοι οὐκ ἠθέλησαν δοῦναι αὐτά, ἀπόστιλόν μοι τοὺς κωμάρχας καὶ ποιῶ αὐτοὺς πάντα πληρῶσε ἐπὶ τῆς πόλεως.
καὶ σπούδασον τὰ ἀργύρια Φήλικι ἀποστῖλαι ἐν τῇ σήμερον· ἐν τουτο γὰρ οὐ βλάπ[τ]ῃ. μὴ ἀφῇς ἡμᾶς ἐν περιστάσι τούτο[υ] χάριν.
καὶ περὶ τῶν ἀναλωμάτον ἃ δέδωκα ὑπ(ὲρ) τῶν κωμαρχο͂ν, σπούδασον ἀπὸ τῆς ἀπετήσεως ἄριν και ἀποστῖλαι ἢ τοὺς κωμάρχας ἀπόστιλον ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν οἶδες καὶ σοὶ τὰ κακὰ τῆς πόλεως καὶ τὰ ἀναλώματα.
καὶ κατάκλιστός εἰμι ἕνεκεν τοῦ χρυσίου τῆς ἀρουρατίωνος καὶ ἕως σήμερον οὐδὲν ἀπέστιλας. (hand 2?) ἐρρῶσθαί σαι εὔχομαι πολλοῖς χρόν̣(οις).

I have written to you many times about the expenses of the workers, and you have sent me nothing.
For by God, I make a great effort every day for the sake of those who demand it.
Be diligent today to send the expenses of those same workers; you know what is expected of you. If you know that the village leaders did not want to give them, send me the village leaders and I will make them fulfill everything in the city.
And be diligent to send the silver to Felix today; for in this it will not harm. Do not leave us in this situation.
And concerning the expenses that I have given on behalf of the village leaders, be diligent to send from the request or to send the village leaders to the city; you know the evils of the city and the expenses.
And I am confined for the sake of the gold of the fields, and until today you have sent me nothing. (hand 2?) I wish you to be strong for many years.

If you learn that the village chiefs did not wish to give them, send me the village chiefs, and I will make them pay everything in the city.
And hurry to send the money to Felix today; for in this there is no harm.
Do not leave us in difficulty because of this.
And concerning the expenses which I have paid on behalf of the village chiefs, hurry to collect from the demand and send it, or else send the village chiefs to the city.
You yourself know the troubles of the city and the expenses.
And I am confined because of the gold of the arouration-tax, and until today you have sent nothing.
